Christine Spadafor
Managing Director
Experience
Ms. Spadafor is a Managing Director at Coltala Holdings. She is a former partner at several world-class consulting firms (The Boston Consulting Group) and has wide-ranging strategy and operational experience, from complex international projects for Fortune 100 companies, to M&A engagements and corporate transformations for closely-held enterprises and entrepreneurs.
A Harvard Law School graduate, Ms. Spadafor was selected by the American Bar Association’s Business Section as one of America’s top 20 female attorneys with outstanding business expertise. She has worked as general counsel, a CEO, and an advisor to C-suite executives and boards. Ms. Spadafor currently serves on the Board of Directors of Boyd Gaming Corporation, a publicly traded NYSE company where she is the Chair of the board’s Governance and Nominating Committee, and a member of its Audit Committee.
Ms. Spadafor is active as an academic lecturer and public speaker. She is a long-time presenter in the Visiting Executive Program at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, a presenter at Harvard Kennedy School and a frequent speaker at professional events and industry meetings. Her lectures focus on Organizational Turnarounds, Women in Leadership, and Adaptive Leadership Strategies (the topic of her 2017 presentation at an international conference sponsored by Harvard Medical School). Ms. Spadafor’s extensive experience also includes work for nonprofits and academic institutions. As a public health consultant, she worked for the United Nations in China. As an attorney, she represented at-risk children. For nearly 10 years, Ms. Spadafor devoted her financial, operational and organizational management skills to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, a nonprofit that serves abused, abandoned and homeless children. In recognition of these societal contributions and her career accomplishments, Ms. Spadafor was awarded the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree in 2015 from LaRoche College.
